Lagoon Beach with Airspace Kite School
A huge natural kite park, this is
utterly and completely every kitesurfers dream.
Since the kite launching area is not so desirable at Moonbeach
and to give each sport its own perfect conditions, our kitesurfing
all happens at the awesome Lagoon Beach. Here there is heaps of
space both on and off the water. Man made lagoons are fed by a huge shallow
natural lagoon over 5km sq of shallow crystal clear and butter
flat water, meandering around sand dunes and inlets. The open sea
offers a different environment with cross-shore winds and yet more
space. The safety of land or ground under foot is never far away,
making it perfect for learning at every level.
The location is separate to Moonbeach (20 minute drive by our shuttle
bus) and is run by our colleagues at the Airspace kite centre. The
shuttle gives you access through the day and guests who chose a mix
of activities or have a non kitesurfing partner usually stay at Moonbeach
and visit the kite lagoons daily. If you would prefer to
