WINDSURFING ~ levels
Moonbeach caters for all levels.

Intermediate and advanced windsurfers (anyone who can hang off a sail in a bit of a breeze upwards) will get the most hours of windsurfing out of Moonbeach - usually more than their arms can handle! Beginners benefit from small group or individual tuition with specialised kit for learning and find conditions most suitable mainly in the mornings and evenings.

Coaching is available for all levels in small groups and always with sessions of 1-2-1 with the instructor.

Beginners
Cross shore winds make it easy to take those first few steps. Summer time (May to Oct) expect to be out mornings and evenings before the stronger winds set in. Winter time will provide more time during the day of suitable winds.
 Beginners
Stable beginner boards & light rigs.
Excellent teaching, small groups or often personal, so there is plenty of teacher-student interaction.
Intermediates
Consistent cross shore winds make it easy to get in and out and there are no gusts to fight, so you can just get on and enjoy your windsurfing. The wind bend helps keep you upwind. Flat and shallow water with sand under foot makes it great for practicing skills.
 Intermediates
There is a full range of boards and sails for all levels. The coaching by RYA British instructors is tailored to your current skills and goals with one to one time with the instructor and video feedback.
Advanced
Experienced sailors enjoy clean, strong, consistent winds from mid morning to mid afternoon (and longer in the summer). There are no gusty conditions to fight and you can be maxed on the flat water, slightly less powered out in the swells. Long broad reach coastal blasting in the swells offers some fantastic challenging conditions. Starboard hand jumping.
