What’s it like being on the Moonbeach team?

Our 10 person team gives direct input to the holidays, making the jobs responsible, challenging and very rewarding. It’s a very friendly environment… so the more you put in - the more you get back here!

Our holidays for windsurfing, kitesurfing and yoga are second to none for our friendly customer service and quality of teaching. We are particularly well renown with British travelers and the local expatriate community.

Teaching is in small groups and we provide in house training (except yoga teachers) to further your skills in the activities as well as generally in providing top quality holidays. Conditions are fantastic for teaching, so you can really make a difference to customer’s abilities and their holidays.

It’s a unique place and a great job for an enthusiastic person looking for something different.

Management Roles
Individual management of windsurf and kitesurf centres & overall management. The smaller nature of the centre and the provision of tailor made holidays gives opportunity for management efforts to net direct results and therefore a high level of job satisfaction.

Management and participation in centre operations such:
Safety, maintenance, customer service, social, bar, excursions
Staff management and personnel duties
Schedule planning and implication
Guest relations
Hotel relations

Qualifications required:
Power boat, instruction RYA/IKO/BKSA as appropriate

Windsurf Instructors - Levels 1-5 and Beach Senior
The small beach team covers all aspects of centre operations between them. The approachable friendly vibe that is created through high levels of guest interaction and customer service, gives the team the ability to really make the difference to customer holidays. Coaching is in small groups and our structure means you can really get results. We provide in house training to improve these skills.

Coaching and teaching
Rescue
Centre and equipment general maintenance
Customer service and guest relations
Some social / bar / general activity organisation and participation
Beach senior position would additionally include additional responsibility overseeing staff and operations in management absence

Qualifications required:
Power boat. Instruction RYA usually required

Kitecentre management/Beach front senior position
- IKO / BKSA level 1 & 2+
The kitsurfers have their own domain at the lagoons with uncrowded conditions that are superb for teaching without students straying too far. The approachable friendly vibe that is created through high levels of guest interaction and customer service, gives the team the ability to really make the difference to customer holidays. General duties in the centre are shared between team members.

Yoga teachers - BWY or other certified with experience
Students can be a variety of dedicated practised yogis on a full concentrated yoga holiday to those trying just a session or two for the first time who may be windsurfing or kitesurfing the majority of the time. Outside of class times interaction with guests both yoga and non yoga helps to keep continuity with all centre activities. 1-2-1 sessions are also offered to some guests.

Massage qualification advantageous

Qualifications required:
BWY or other certification / training masters. Good Experience essential.

Administrator
The majority of this role is office and is based using administration, organisational and basic computer skills. There is good variety in tasks with regular guest relations duties combined with being hands on with the beachfront team on occasion if skills allow. Ideal for someone who enjoys managing their own schedule and is self organised.

Bookings administration
General Administration, basic book keeping, handling money, computer use. Customer service and guest relations
Some social / bar / general activity organisation and participation
Qualifications required:
Watersports qualifications / experience helpful but not a necessity.

Bar Person
The small beach bar at the waters edge is the hub of activity and the main social meeting point for all guests and staff. Bar operation during the evenings is relatively straightforward requires the ability to self organise and take full responsibility for achieving a well-run bar with the right vibe for the guests. There is the additional opportunity to be part of the windsurf beach.

Stock taking and control
Some daytime duties on windsurf beach depending on qualifications (eg. rescue watch, instruction)
Bar and social organisation during evenings Customer service and guest relations

Qualifications required:
Preferably Power boat, instruction RYA but not essential
